Among the fearless warriors hailing from the Malwa region of Punjab is Shaheed Bhai Kulwant Singh Khukhrana. Bhai Sahib was born to Sardar Pala Singh and Mata Bhagwan Kaur on March 1, 1961 in village Khukhrana, district Moga. On April 20, 1961, Bhai Navneet Singh Qadian was born into a Gursikh family of village Qadian, district Gurdaspur, Punjab. His father was Sardar Tirath Singh and mother Bibi Ranjit Kaur.
