khalistani.heres some info on chief gen sukhwinder singh sanghas btfk cadres that might be of use to you,apart from the majha border range district amritsar.tarn taran.majitha police districts.bhai sanghas cadres were also in ludhiana district.ropar.patiala districts too.on sept 13 1993 a police team led by then ssp patiala csr reddy went to bangkok to bring back 2 dreaded btfk sangha militants. lt gen balwinder singh lala and harjit singh who were active in the malwa belt ropar district. also in this btfk sangha cadre was a young area commander called jasmer singh lali from village khant manapur who was killed in a firefight with security forces near morinda in 1991.jagdish singh deesha was also a big name in ludhiana jagraon.khanna districts btfk sangha group led by rachpal singh chandran the both of them were captured in june 1992 near the gill canal ludhiana by cia staff ludhiana.in jan 1990 bhai sukhwinder singh sangha took part in a major operation in amritsar along with kcf panjwar lt gen gurmukh singh nagoke.in police district tarn taran in 1988/89 a man called avtar singh chhetra deputy commmandant of crpf posted as sp operations tarn taran used to say the day i capture sukhwinder singh sangha dead or alive i will become a ssp.iall get back to you khalistani with more info

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh khalistani in the year 1990 a tip of was given to sp avtar singh that chief general sukhwinder singh sangha is in pind muse on the info given the police forces cornerd bhai sahib and when sangha ji seen the forces come in him and his singhs opend fire and engaged in a fierce 10 hr combat in which 5 singhs of btf attainted shaheedi with guru ji kirpa sangha escaped from muse later that year another tipp of was given to sp harjit that sanga is in pind buller harjit with heavey forces attacted the house wher sangha and his other singhs were bhai sahib engaged in another combat with the police and crp after a long battle and after killing many police officers in the fight bhai sangha attainted shaheedi also with bhai sangha was a area commander of btf who was baljit singh khela he too attained shaheedi along side sangha ji i will try to dig up the names of the other singhs who were martred in the other two muqabley after bhai sanghas shaheedi all the karku groups were very upset having lost such a great general later that month bhai major singh who was a lt general of the khalistan commando force who operated mainly in u.p took revenge of bhai sangha by blowing up ssp harjit alongside his fello bodygaurds after killing harjit with a bomb major singh on part of khalistan commando force took full responcilbility of killing harjit and taking bhai sanghas revenge waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh

thanks veero. ive got a few sources im using on the article. but the thing is that magazines and newspapers from that time had to pass censors.

in a sant sipahi article it specifically states that due to censorship we are not allowed to write about the musa and bhullar battle and apologises to the writer and readers.

reason being the state did not want the people to know how bravely the Singhs fought and high number of security forces casualties.

khalistani . in the area between jhabal and bhikiwind is located village muse,and from this area a police tout/informer went to the house of sp operations avtar singh chhetra in june 1989 to say 5 lions of the btfk were hiding out there.avtar singh chhetra told him its too dark know i got your report its never wise to put your hand into a lions den we wouldnt get out safely its too risky.weall corner them when there asleep in early morning.sp operations said i have captured and have in custody 2 very big khadkoo singhs chirp singh and naher singh iall take them with me to get sangha.rashpal singh ghukh from village narla,kulwant singh kanta village bhure khona.kulwant singh kala from kapurthala district near bholath/dhilwan side.balwinder singh bhinda whos nanke village was bhrampura. manjinder singh aka nanak singh from johal raju singh wala were the 5 singhs.6th was gen sukhwinder singh sangha who escaped the police dragnet.sp operations avtar singh chhetra was also killed in this fierce fire encounter lasting like major said 10 hours.iall tell you about a btfk sangha operation that took place on the 28th december 1989 in tarn taran town,during militancy days there were 2 crpf sentry posts outside darbar sahib tarn taran.in the winter months in majhail area the rural folk wrap up in thick shawls,bhai sukhwinder sangha and his men hid there ak/47s under this cloak and blew away 4 crpf jawans from handshaking distance and took away all the weapons,and escaped through the crowded tarn taran gurdwara.after the killings a crpf battalian surounded the place and took into custody some bystanders saying they were involved with the militants before killing them.a fight also took place between the crpf men and punjab police,it was only with the timely intervention of ig border range mahel singh bhuller and dc amritsar sarbjit singh that tempers were calmed down.a search team of crpf/punjab police went into the gurdwara but only found a walkie talkie left behind.

bhai sukhwinder singh sangha in his heydays until 1990 commanded in his group 50 hitmen not only in the amritsar border range but his group was well entrenched in the doaba /malwa belt.in hoshiarpur dist his top lt gen was jagdeesh singh deesha,in the patiala district his lt gen was sukhram singh mazbhi ,in the khanna sub division of ludhiana the area commander was devinder singh all these singhs were under ludhiana dist general rachpal singh chandran,when bhai sangha broke away from the main btfk militant organisation manochahal he was in the early days helped by wassan singh zaffarwal kcf chief who supplied him with weapens and other logistics,i forgot to mention btfk sanghas lt general of kapurthala dist was jaspal singh pala,

bhai sanghas btfk faction was the last militant group to join dr sohan singhs panthic commitee which already had ssf daljit,klf budhsinghwala,babbar khalsa and kcf panjwar making it 5 khadkoo jathebandis
