shaheed bhai jagroop singh kalakh was a lt general of the khalistan liberation force whos area of operation was the district of sangrur were his village kalakh is located.and the industrial town of ludhiana.some of the kharkoo singhs under his command were bhai manjinder singh issi alas comrade.who kidnapped romanian diplomat liv radu in 1991 from new dehli..harnek singh bhapp who is in nabha patiala jail.jarnail singh gwaddi.and many other youths from the ludhiana.and sangrur districts.bhai ji jagroop singh kalakh was killed in a fierce shoot out with the ludhiana police along with his companian shaheed bhai jangjit singh dakha near village bunga in malerkotla sub division sangrur district.on the 25th of june 1991.the security forces had trouble stopping many villagers hindus and sikh coming to the village kalakh to pay there respects of shaheed kalakh.who helped many hindu familys from militants who used to extort money from them.bhai jagroop singh kalakh was a proper militant who never killed or harrased inocents.he was respected by the good and feared by the bad in ludhiana district and sangrur.

Shaheed Bhai Jagroop Singh Khalakh was a Kharkoo who was feared by the bad and loved by the good in the Sangrur district of Malwa belt and the town of Ludhiana. He was a lt. general of the Khalistan Liberation Force under Shaheed Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala. His area of operation was the district Sangrur, in which his hometown Khalakh was situated and the industrial town of Ludhiana. Many Singhs like Bhai Manjinder SIngh Issi (alias Comrade, the one who was one of the main masterminds behind the 1991 kidnapping of Romanian diplomat Liviu Radu from New Delhi), Bhai Harnek Singh Bhap (currently in Nabha Patiala Jail), Bhai Jarnail Singh Gwaddi and many other Singhs from Ludhiana worked under Bhai Sahib.

Bhai Sahib was martyred along with a fellow Singh of the KLF, Bhai Jangjit Singh Dakha in a fierce shoutout with the Ludhiana Police on the 25th of June, 1991. This encounter happened near village Bunga in the Malerkotla sub-division of Sangrur district. The security forces had much trouble stopping many Hindus and Sikh villagers coming to the village Kalakh to pay their respects to this Mahan Shaheed (Great Martyr) of Kalakh. Bhai Sahib never killed anyone just because of their faith, instead they even helped many Hindu families, from whom fake militants used to extort money. Bhai Jagroop Singh Kalakh was a proper militant who never killed or harrassed any innocent person.

bhai manjinder singh issi alias comrade is a free man today .hes been cleared of most cases registered against him during the heydays of militancy in punjab.he has become sarpanch of his village issi near dhuri district sangrur and hes also active in simranjit singh manns party in amritsar.he is married to the widow of shaheed bhai jagroop singh kalakh klf lt gen.bhai manjinder singh issi was one of the klfs top operatives who carried out many daring actions in district ludhiana.and sangrur/patiala districts

is he still sarpanch ? i knew he was back in 2003, did he get re-elected in last years sarpanchi elecs ? i think he has now left s s mann he never takes part in any gathering or conferences, he joined for a short while with the wife of bhai daya singh lhoria. He's in the transport business now , i wish he would come into active politics on a big scale, especialy with bhai bittu, are you in touch with bhai issi ?

bhai manjinder singh issi as far as i know is still the sarpanch of village issi .where he was elected unchallanged due to the fear of his past life.but bhai manjinder singh issi isnt close to daljit singh bittu or his party so joining him is out of the question.simranjit singh mann and bhai manjinder issi have allways said that people like daljit s bittu.dr sohan singh.jasbir singh rode betrayed the khalistan movement that cost the lives of all the top kharkoo singhs .while they are still alive and well today.iall have to find out but as far as i know bhai manjinder singh is still involved with the shiromani akali dal amritsar mann were he holds a high post.another singh whos also in the party is a former kcf singh called navtej singh alias honey.whos also doing well as a beekeeper.

i know about bhai navtej singh he is in the honey business now.I've done some research on bhai bittu and believe he is genuine and dr sohan singh a traitor and bhai rode confused and weak, mann is honest but lacks leadership qualites and issi true from the heart but has problems getting on with others !

Both Mann & Bittu have questionable pasts, but somehow appear to be at the forefront of Khalistani politics. Neither has much support at all, only in select areas do they have supporters. Both parties are using the names of Shaheed Singhs and recruiting former militants into their parties to raise popularity.
