shaheed bhai ravinder pal singh bholla was a top hitman in the klf who hailed from the village kaleke near rayya police district majitha.during the year 1990 due to a crackdown by the security forces in the majha belt a lot of kharkoo singhs started operating outside of punjab .dehli.bombay.and u.p were areas where kharkoo singhs from differant organisations were most active bhai ravinder pal singh bholla was operating around dehradun in uttarakhand area.in dehradun bhai ravinder pal singh bholla took part in a sensational bank robbery but was captured by the police.chief general of the klf shaheed gurjant singh budhsinghwala in turn kidnaped some relatives of prominant persons who were relatives of mlas.judges.one being the small grandson rajan of satpal mittal a congress mla and big industrial family from ludhiana.someone else who was kidnaped was a relative of buta singh.and kuldip singh arora from khilchian village in majitha police district who was picked up from his shop across the road from a police post in khilchian on 27th september 1990 he was related to a judge and senior ias officer in punjab.the chief general klf gurjant s budhsinghwala demanded the release of bhai ravinder pal singh bholla in return for the hostages who were not harmed by the klf militants.because the hostages were relatives of prominant people the punjab goverment agreed to the demands of the klf and soon after released bhai ravinder pal singh bholla.he was brought back to punjab in a punjab police convoy who dropped him of at his village in kaleke the hostages were also released unharmed.shaheed bhai chief general gurjant singh budhsinghwala promoted bhai ravinder pal bholla to lt general .the following year 1991 the security forces were on the hunt for top militants who carried high rewards. on may 5th 1991 the security forces spotted bhai ravinder pal singh bholla in his village kaleke who was at that point in time unarmed.he made a run for it jumping over a wall to escape from the security forces.but was met on the other side by more security personel who gunned him down unarmed. lt general bhai ravinder pal singh bholla was a top hitman in the klf who operated in the police district majitha and took part in many daring actions.he was a favourate of shaheed bhai klf general gurjant singh budhsinghwala.

ssa/greetings, the klf militant organisation in the early years was a scattering of small groups like the khalistan armed police,the khalistan security force.and shaheed avtar singh bhrampuras tat khalsa and some other small groups which were linked to the aissf manjit and the panthic commitee, but after the killing and capture of some of this groupings top kharkoo singhs like bhai sher singh sher, bhai kamaljit singh kambha,shaheed bhai durga singh, nishan singh and swaran singh,shaheed bhai manjit singh khajala.satwinder singh bhola,and general sardul singh the group split into factions from which emerged the klf arur singh militant organisation in 1986,and the btfk under baba gurbachan singh manochahal in 1987,the kcf formed under shaheed bhai gen hari singh an alias of manbir singh,was lead by shaheed gen sukhdev singh sukha sipai was an already established militant organisation like the babbar khalsa.the kcf was linked to the aissf gurjit singh faction and in the years 1986/87 was said to have about 100 hard core killers,and several boys in there teens who were also willing to kill for the cause.

khalistani .the btfk was formed just a bit before the dismissal of the surjit singh barnala goverment, in may 1987 when baba gurbachan singh ji manochahal broke away from the panthic commitee,some of the first major actions of the btfk which took place simultaneously were in amritsar and greater kailash area of new dehli on the night of june 13th 1987 around 10.30 pm led by one of the first lt generals of the btfk lt gen swaranjit singh,the following year in 1988 during operation black thunder the btfk suffered heavy losses like the shaheedi of lt gen surjit singh penta and lt gen karaj singh thande,after which the group kept a low profile,before striking back hard in march 1989 in police district tarn taran with the hanging of some hindus,all the major actions in the 1987/88/1989 years were carried out by the btfk and kcf jaffarwal both linked to the damdami taksal,where as from 1990 onwards the most killings were carried out by militant organisations under the command of dr sohan singh panthic commitee

khalistani iall dig around and get back to you with more on the panthic commitee and btfk.one more thing on the btfk,everyone knows that the founder and chief of this organisation was baba ji gs manochahal.and later some of the top lt generals operated independant like bhai sukhwinder singh sangha his group was under the command of dr sohan singhs panthic commitee and was said to have the support of btfk cadre led by lt general satnam singh harsha cheena who was in the original panthic commitee but moved out of punjab in 1990 early 1991 to the terai area were he set up a formidible operation.in march 1993 frontline magazine quoted the then ssp ludhiana siddarth chattopadya who said the following about the btfk sangha faction which was headed by shaheed rashpal singh chandran.he said this group had the potential to have become the most dominant force in the ludhiana district because a lot of its members had received training in the use of explosives by the tamil tigers of elan and the chandran group had the police not eliminated them in time had all the equipment and training to cause the punjab police major problems during the security forces offensive in early 1992 post election time.the original panthic commitee formed during the 1986 sarbat khalsa acording to baba ji gs manochahal in 1991 stood the test of time the militant groups operating under the commitee were as follows btfk manochahal.kcf rajastani.dashmesh regiment led by balwinder sing shahpur who operated around dera radha swami beas. sathiala areas and aissf manjit singh .kcf jaffarwal was in this commitee but formed there own commitee but both commitees were very close to the taksal.the dr sohan singh panthic commitee had the kcf panjwar faction which was the strongest in firepower.aissf daljit bittu group.the klf budhsinghwala which was weakened by the loss of a lot of there cadres to the security forces.the babbars joined this commitee but seperated in late 1991.to be contd/
