on the 21st july 1994 in gandinagar on a tip from nasik police that 5 hardcore punjab militants belonging to the klf had taken shelter in broach district of south gujerat.the police under mr kuldip sharma dig operations have launched a manhunt and have put the state police on red alert.the 5 militants kidnaped a buisnessman harjinder singh from nasik whos a distant relative of punjab cm sardar beant singh.the 5 klf militants are kuldip singh kipa.manjinder singh issi.daya singh lahoria.devinderpal singh bhuller alias deepak and navneet singh who have demanded the release of malkiat singh ajnala a hardcore kcf punjab militant presantly under custody and a ransom of 1.5 crore for the release of the kidnaped person harjinder singh.the nasik police have warned the state police to act with caution as the militants might be equiped with automatic weapons and explosives.this story is from the year 1994

Malkeet Singh Ajnala is alive today, he was captured during Operation Black Thunder in 1988. At this time Ajnala was one of the most powerful Jujharoos of the district. After the release of the Jujharoos, Ajnala was looked upon as an agent, as all others who were released swore an oath to sacrifice themselves for the movement, yet Ajnala today is alive.

Harnek Singh Bhapp was also involved in the kiddnapping of the Congress(I) leader Ram Niwas Mirdha's son in 1995, and in return demanded the release of Davinderpal Singh Bhullar. This led the security forces to launch an counter-operation in which General Navneet Singh Kaadiyan was Shaheed.

after there surender at operation black thunder on may 1988 lt general malkiat singh ajnala .bhai nirvair singh .lt general chanchal singh udhoke.lt general bhag singh and other top kharkoo singhs were taken to police station kotwali amritsar and from there to special interrogation centres like the infamous mal mandi interrogation centre run by the crpf in amritsar were dsp gurmit singh bhai was based.and the other was br model school interrogation centre under the charge of ssp amritsar suresh kumar arora.these centres were also used by the ssps of police districts majitha and tarn taran.a lot of these top kharkoos were then offered a chance to live by helping the security forces during counter insurgency operations or be killed in fake encounters.a lot of top kharkoos switched sides money also played a part large sums of cash was offered depending on how big a kharkoo was captured or killed.when ever the police reported that a top kharkoo had escaped from custody or was killed in a encounter .that was a way to put the press and public of the scent.it was only when a known militant gurjit singh escaped from one of these special interrogation centres that he told the press he had seen many top kharkoo singhs who were suposed to have been killed in encounters alive and well at these centres.among the security forces circles there has also been a rumour that panthic commitee member and founder in chief of the khalistan liberation force bhai aroor singh was never killed while being transported to dehli for interrogation and he was a high level cat working under cover only very few close family members new of this.malkiat singh ajnala after being kept in jail for a few years was also a high level cat operating in the shadow of darkness.

over the years theres allways been rumours about bhai malkiat singh ajnala being a cat after his surender to the security forces during operation black thunder.iad like to put the record straight this is what really happened to him.after operation black thunder bhai malkiat singh spent the next 3 and a half years in amritsar central jail.in the later part of 1991 he was given bail.it was then that he vanished underground and out of the punjab.he then operated out of patna and became the klfs top lt general for there operations in.punjab. bombay.gujarat.dehli.rajastan.bhai malkiat singh ran a interstate transport company through which he would send weopens and explosives to the klf cadres operating in the punjab and all over india he had made special compartmants inside all the trucks which would be hard to identify during a checkpoint search this is were he used to hide the logistics for the klf cadres to use in militant operations.during the 1992 punjab elections and after sardar beant singh came to power the security forces launched a deadly assault on all the kharku jathebandis the killings of all the top leaders of the btfk.klf.babbar khalsa.and mass surenders of kharku singhs also took place in 1992 1993.the kcf was totally destroyed there leader bhai paramjit singh panjwar was the only one in pakistan who had no one left to command.the btfk was also hit hard only there founder in chief baba manochahal survived uptill early 1993.other groups fared better the babbars whos leader bhai sukhdev singh was killed in ludhiana in aug 1992 survived because they had 2 very able second in command leaders in bhai mehal singh and bhai waddawa singh.the smartest group of all the militant groups was the klf who although lost there general bhai gurjant singh budhsinghwala in july 1992 and his second in command who took his place in july also. they had a very able leader in dr pritam singh sekhon who was based in pakistan.and in the field key operatives of the klfs shadowy engineer group as it was known.shaheed kuldeep singh keepa.and navneet singh qadian and above them operating out of patna lt gen bhai malkiat singh ajnala.militancy ended for bhai malkiat singh ajnala in may 1993 were he and 3 other hardcore militants from the kcf zaffarwal.klf.babbar khalsa and other groups tottaling 82 surendered to the dgp punjab kps gill at mehta chowk amritsar.over a 100 handgrenades.and a big supply of rdx out of the same batch used in the 1993 bombay blasts in which filmstar sunjay dutt was jailed was surendered by bhai malkiat singh ajnala among other weopens

i read an article in the tribune india around 2003 2004 were captain amrinder singh was saying badal had links with top militants and badal was saying captain had militant links mudslinging. but amrinder singh said he had pictures as proof of badal at the bhog of malkiat singh ajnala.i know his wife gave birth to a baby girl in the late 80s in a village near ajnala.if hes alive he must be in his 40s know.
