You can have it, but if you are amritdhari then mind cutting or shaving your hairs. As long Liberty ji is concerned she just anti about it, she has not provided any Gurbani Sabad condemning tattoos so being anti tattoos remains her choice.
Please mind cutting and shaving hairs, A amitdhari must not do it, if he does in a emergency (accidents, surgeries) case he should disclose it with Panj Pyaras as soon as possible.

No sikh is not allowed to have a tattoo.It is clearly says in our principles that a SINGH should not do piercing, however no one cares about it as the sikh AMRITDHARI ladies wears earrings, boys as well and they also start getting tattoos which is unfortune because of lack of knowledge about our religion we do wrong things and try to justify it on the name of religion. I do wear earrings though i know body piercing is not allowed in our religion but i just do not justify it. I would rather say that i like to wear them instead of twisting my religious principles to prove myself right.

my view is that though man people ave tattoos hese days tatoos were originally used and are still are used by badmash people or troublesome people. soehow they came into contact with sports people thats why they are such a big 'fashion item'. i would say to you to not get a tatoo. as singhs we are not allowed to alter our body. to get a tatoo taken off t does affect your body.this is just my view but i tink yu definetly shouldn't. by the way wy do you want tattoo?
