Chamkila Killed by Karkoo singhs in late 80s

Chamkila was killed by karkoo singhs in Masempur near Bilga, i heard that he was killed by Gurdeep Singh Deppa & sohdi bilgawala but i am not sure. i have a close relitive who went to watch him , chamkila was gonna sing in a after marrige party at the farm house. and when chamkila came with his wife and he was shot when he got out of the car. everyone ran and both of there bodies were left dead on goha ( cow shit) . my relitive says he saw 3 singhs cover in camlia ( blankets) on a motorbike and they said to him " baba mor ja chamkila da asi bhog pa dhita" . in the evening the police threw the bodied on parali in a trali and took them for post marten to philliuar .

i remember Malkit Singh the punjabi singer ran away because Deepa paji scared him away.
Malkit got a letter after he released a album " tutic tutic tuie" and i think deepa paji also met him and demanded money, and then malkit sliped to dehli and then to england.

it was said that singer chamkilla was killed along with amarjot i think her name was by militants in 1988 on orders of the panthic commitee,but others say that is was amarjot kaurs brothers family who had them killed bacause of caste family honor as they were ramgharia sikhs and chamkilla a ravidass sikh,a lot of killings in those days were blamed on militants but had nothing to do with them at all,like film star varindera dharminders cousin was killed a year later in 1989 while shooting a film scene in a curfew ridden area in dist ludhiana they say by militants,

I know a Singh here in San Francisco, who was a member of BTFK (Manochahal) and he said that his group had killed chamkila and that they planned it and everything, but I've also heard KCF being responsible, it could have been a joint action

you could be right because the btfk organisation had some of there gangs operating in dist jalandher and had safehouses in jalandher cantt and other parts of the district,and ludhiana dist had gangs operating from btfk sangha under the command of shaheed rachpal singh chandran

btfk sangha chief general was sukhwinder singh sangha from sangha village police district tarn taran which was the most dangerous area during the late 80s.early 90s no police officer wanted to be posted there.
