iall tell you about shaheed bhai darshpreet singh roomi he was under the command of shaheed bhai kuldip singh keepa sheikhupura one of the chiefs of the klf after the shaheedi of chief general gurjant singh budhsinghwala in 1992.other singhs with roomi were shaheed bhai hardip singh rimpy,sukhwinder singh kalajhande,rupinder singh khalsa,mohan singh sheikhupura. these singhs were involved in the village hans kalan encounter in jagraon sub div ludhiana dist on may 17th 1991it was a real encounter between klf singhs and 1 kcf panjwar singh kush karanjot singh with nearly 300 security forces led by then sp operations mukhtiar chand and dsp harnek singh. bhai darshpreet singh roomi and the 4 klf singhs exchanged heavy gunfire with the security forces for over 4 hours where half a dozen security men died and more than a dozen were injured in the encounter,although the police denied this in the newspaper report. darshpreet and the klf singhs obtained shaheedi in this encounter on 17th may 91the sixth man kcf p kush karanjot singh surrendered himself to security forces after the shaheedi of his comrades and acording to several villagers ploughing there fields was beaten up by police men then taken away in a police jeep,after 2 hours they came back with kush karanjot singh told him to run for it as he got of the jeep he was gunned down.
