Quick update on the happenings of NeverForget84.com

Firstly, videos have been re-enabled again on the site and can be viewed at http://www.neverforget84.com/videos.php

Secondly, we receive numerous mails daily as to when we are going to actually update the videos, audios and image galleries. Well the answer to that is…June. We have been planning to update the site for the last few months, but only managed to update our Image gallery 2months back, but due to personal commitements we were unable to work on the website as much as we would have liked to.

However, we have an absolute HUGE update planned for the upcoming anniversary of Operation Bluestar.

Updates include:

Hundreds of new Sant Jarnail Singh images
Unseen images of Shaheed Singhs
Videos from Dharam Yudh Morcha, and Sarbat Khalsa
Hours upon hours of audio files
Jeevanis of the Shaheeds

Image gallery back up with new images

We had some problems with our previous Image Gallery script which would not let us add new images, therefore we had to remove the gallery for a few days to find a solution.

In the end we decided to use another script, which is somewhat similar. Anyways the new images have been added to the gallery which can be viewed at http://www.neverforget84.com/gallery

Audio & Video sections are also being worked on and should be functional again soon.

After receiving numerous requests from visitors to the site we have re-enabled the text pages on NeverForget84.com.

All of the historical events, Shaheeds biographies and related pages are now active.

The Multimedia sections are currently under construction & will be re-enabled upon the next update.

Updates

There have been a few updates since our last posting so here follows a breakdown of each.

NeverForget84.com: Hosting for NeverForget84.com has been sorted and we are just awaiting for the Domain to be transferred over to our new host, due to the migration & domain transfer we may experience some downtime, this cannot be helped, but rest assured we will be back online as soon as possible.

Posters: As you may have read on the Posters page the NeverForget84.com have been looking to publish & distribute posters related to the Sikh Freedom Movement & the event of 1984. A mini-poll was conducted to determine which type of poster the sangat would be most interested in buying, so far the results are showing that all 3 of the designs are very much to the liking of the sangat, so we have decided to print of the ‘NeverForget 84‘ poster.

100 A2/A3 of these posters are due to be printed within the next week. If you would like to purchase the poster you can pre-order one by leaving a comment, with your email address included when posting so we can contact you. Otherwise we shall list the posters on this blog and our new sister site (read below) to be sold via Ebay.

AKAAL Productions: We are proud to announce our new sister site AkaalProductions.com. The Akaal Productions site will be dedicated to the Media distribution of NeverForget84 content such as T-Shirts, Hoodies, Posters, Literature, CD’s, DVD’s & much more.

Welcome to the NeverForget84.com blog, here you can find out about the latest news, updates & the general running of NeverForget84.com.

Firstly we would like to apologize about the lack of updates on the site recently, looking back our last update was many months ago, back in June, co-inciding with the Operation Bluestar anniversary. However, we still have a substantial amount of material to be uploaded and a mass update of the MultiMedia section is being lined up.

In this month (November) our web hosting is due to expire, we are currently looking to renew or sign up with another webhost. Once this issue has been resolved the MultiMedia update will follow. The main site will also be inaccessible for this duration.

If you have any any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve the site, or just general feedback then feel free to leave a comment.

Few teasers of what is to come:
